I originally had a Toyota that had been driven for over ten years. Although there were no major issues, it was毕竟 too old, lagging far behind in all aspects, and fuel consumption had increased, so I got the idea of changing cars. On October 7th, taking advantage of the end of the National Day holiday, I visited various 4S stores. Due to brand habits, I first visited GAC Toyota and FAW Toyota, followed by Geely Galaxy, Xingyue L, two Volkswagen stores, Peugeot, and Nissan. By comparison, domestic brand cars are really likable in terms of appearance, interior, workmanship, and intelligence. Toyota's interior is like a rough house and the price is high, so it was the first to be passed. I was torn between the Galaxy L7 and Xingyue L. On the way home in the afternoon, I passed a BYD Ocean store and went in to have a look. I saw the 25th model Song Plus, which had a pretty cool appearance. I sat in it, and the space was really good. The interior and configuration completely outperformed the "rough house". After chatting with the salesperson, a test drive was arranged immediately. The newly upgraded E-type four-link suspension and FSD of the 25th model made the chassis and driving experience very good. During the test drive, I deliberately tried sudden acceleration and bumpy roads, and my wife, who is sensitive to motion sickness, said she didn't feel dizzy. Then I negotiated the price with the salesperson (without much hope). From looking at the car, test driving to paying the deposit, it only took over an hour, and then I went home to wait... On the 12th, the salesperson called to say the car had arrived, which I couldn't believe because many people had said before that you have to wait for months for this car. After arriving at the store, there was the car inspection process and a slightly silly delivery ceremony. The car was manufactured on October 9th, really brand new. Maybe because it was too new, it wasn't until the 16th that all the licensing procedures and window tinting were completed, and then I started waiting for the license plate to be delivered. I had always driven fuel cars before, and this was my first plug-in hybrid. I've been driving in pure electric mode these days, and the driving experience of electric cars is really much better than fuel cars: quiet, fast acceleration, and high intelligence. After vehicle owner certification, I read the manual and found out that the first maintenance depends on the fuel usage mileage, so I will start using the HEV mode more in the future. The space of this car is really large. The rear floor is completely flat, and three people can sit there with their legs crossed without any problem. However, the seats and interior are mainly light-colored, especially the white seats which are very不耐脏, but there was no choice, so I had to add seat cushions. The trunk is slightly small, and there are two depressions on both sides (not sure what they are for). I bought two boxes online which just fit in, making the trunk completely flat.

【Charging Time】
My Song Plus is the hybrid version with a 18.3 kWh battery. I used a fast charger at the 4S store once last November. The official claim is 40 minutes for 0-80%, but it actually took only 25 minutes to fully charge. It felt faster than advertised, probably because it was a commercial charging pile with a higher power of 25 kW. Later, charging at home with a power strip was really slow, only 1.2 kW. The dashboard showed it would take 12 hours and also prompted that there was no leakage protection. This charging method can only be used for emergencies when there's no other option. Who has that much time to wait? So I immediately applied for a home charging pile. After installing the home charger, it was better with 3.2 kW, taking only 4.3 hours for 0-80%. I schedule charging after 11 PM at night, and it doesn't affect use the next day at all. Since then, I've been using slow charging at home because I read online that frequent fast charging damages the battery. Some people say temperature in winter and summer affects charging efficiency, but from my personal use, I don't notice any impact, probably because the temperature difference isn't significant. If it's extremely hot like 38 degrees in summer or below zero in winter, there might be an impact, but I haven't encountered that yet.

【Driver Assistance】
The driver assistance is a bit of a shortcoming, to be honest. Maybe because my model isn't the intelligent driving version, I haven't experienced more driver assistance features, so I think it's not very useful. Mine is the 2025 112尊贵版 (Zhunque Ban/Premium Edition), non-intelligent driving version. There are only 5 cameras outside, which can't OTA for autonomous driving or automatic parking. They can only be used for 360-degree panoramic view, and the image has mirroring and overlapping. Although it doesn't affect use, it looks uncomfortable. The driving experience only has vehicle voice interaction, and it's a silly system that can only handle some common functions and ignores other questions. There's also ACC cruise control, which is basically negligible. Even fuel cars are equipped with this. The driver assistance configuration is similar to that of fuel cars. If you want to buy one, it's recommended to get the intelligent driving version.

SUV has large space

【Least Satisfied】
The car was picked up in Delan Black. I thought black was dirt-resistant, but it turns out that even a little mud makes it look extremely dirty. I kind of regret not choosing that Cangyan color.
The driver's door or window makes a noticeable嗖嗖 sound (like wind leakage) when the speed exceeds 60km/h. The engine noise is relatively loud, there is a buzzing sound in the car when the speed is below 30km/h, and sudden braking is a bit jerky.

【Driving Experience】
Powerful, with超强 strong pushing feeling when continuously stepping on the accelerator

【Fuel Consumption】
I have been driving it for more than four months, with a total mileage of 4026km. The average energy consumption for the last 50km: electricity consumption 8.7kw.h/100km, fuel consumption 1.5L/100km. I am quite satisfied.

【Space Performance】
With a safety seat installed, two adults around 100 jin each can easily switch seats when sitting in the back.
