[Charging Time]
For fast charging from 20% to 100%, it takes exactly one hour. I charged it three times when I just got the car back and didn't have a charging pile. It takes about 10 hours to charge from 20% to 100% with BYD's private charging pile. The off-peak electricity price is 0.34 yuan per kilowatt-hour from 8 p.m. to 8 a.m. It costs less than 30 yuan to fully charge the car including the loss, which is quite cost-effective. The rated power is 7 kW, but it generally can only reach around 6 kW. The key point is that you must know the distance from your parking space to the distribution box in the basement. BYD's manufacturer provides free installation within 30 meters. If it's over 30 meters, there will be a charge. The basic cost is about 45 yuan per meter, and the longer the distance, the more expensive the wire may be needed to ensure safety. Decide whether to install a private charging pile according to the distance. Personally, I think it's not worth it if the distance is over 200 meters, and it may cost up to 10,000 yuan...
[Power Performance]
I'm very satisfied with the 222-horsepower power. In the ECO mode, you can easily overtake cars in the urban area. In the SPORT mode, the start is significantly more rapid, but you need to get used to the depth of the accelerator pedal, otherwise, there will be jerks and sudden dashes.
[Endurance]
When the outdoor temperature is over 30 degrees Celsius, it seems that the car can drive over 500 kilometers. Recently, it has been raining continuously in Xi'an, and the outdoor temperature is only over ten degrees Celsius. It obviously doesn't have the same endurance as before. I estimate it can only drive over 400 kilometers. Once, after fully charging the car, the dynamic endurance display showed 608 kilometers, but it dropped to 600 kilometers as soon as I drove out of the basement, and dropped to 595 kilometers after driving 4 kilometers. I don't know the reason.
In short, the endurance display is a mystery. You still need to calculate based on the actual mileage. The lowest battery level is 20%. I've never run the battery completely out, so the endurance is just an inference and not very accurate.
[Comfort]
There's no doubt about the comfort and configuration. One of the reasons I chose the premium version is the nappa leather, the ventilation and heating function of the front passenger seat, and the ambient lighting. Many brothers say that the low-end and high-end models have the highest cost-performance ratio. I also agree with this, but there must also be brothers like me who want higher configuration but think the power of the high-end model is too strong and the endurance is a bit weak. I hope those who say that people who buy the mid-range model are stupid will be more lenient. Existence is reasonable.
